Accor operates on a massive global scale, managing over 40 brands and 5,600 hotels across 110 countries. To support 12 million monthly visits, the group required a digital strategy that could handle high-volume traffic while offering consistent search functionality across its entire international network. The partnership with Web Geo Services, spanning over a decade, focused on reimagining the guest's digital search experience to move beyond simple city-based results toward a comprehensive, global hospitality journey.

The technical implementation optimized the deployment of the Google Maps Platform into Accor’s high-added-value applications. This collaboration allows guests to discover destinations with rich location data, ensuring a seamless transition from online browsing to physical hotel arrival. By prioritizing optimized mapping and user engagement, Accor reinforced its international presence, providing guests with a reliable and familiar interface to find their next stay anywhere in the world.

Accor and Web Geo Services have a 10-year-long history of cooperation. Starting with the first project of replacing a mapping tool and continuing with last year’s project to improve the search engine of their platform. Both Accor and Web Geo Services’ teams are working hand in hand yearly to develop the best solutions addressing the latest challenges and improving the platform’s user experience.
